***PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ABOVE A MAX SUPPLIER BILL RATE OF $41.60/HR POSITION TITLE: Associate Scientist DURATION: 1 YEAR 100% ON SITE ***PLEASE NOTE: PARKING WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED BY GSK. This will be the responsibility of the supplier or resource. Nearby garage parking is available for roughly $420/month. The Associate Scientist in In-Process Analytics is expected to execute scientific studies in support of technical programs as they progress from early development into Phase I/II and Phase III. The appointee will work in the In-process Analytics (IPA) team, within the Drug Substance - Technical R&D unit KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Executing routine characterization assays of Drug Substance including analytical HPLC and plate based assays BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Scientific degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related field - Previous Industry or laboratory experience - Hands on Experience with analytical HPLC or plate based assays - Fluent Spoken/Written English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with industry standard high throughput screening and automation technologies - Understanding of polysaccharide chemistry - Understanding of protein biochemistry - Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and communicate effectively SKILLS - Demonstrates critical, analytical, and synthetic abilities. - Capable of managing time efficiently to meet short-term targets. - Exhibits a collaborative and adaptable approach to working under pressure and time constraints. - Actively seeks feedback on performance to drive continuous improvement. - Strong scientific writing skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely in regulatory documents. - Ensures coherence between contributions, ensuring the quality of final results.
