Pre-Intake Call Questionnaire 1. Position Title: Chemist II 2. Number of Positions Needed: 1 3. Length of Contract: 6M 4. Location/Site: Lake County AP31 - 100% onsite 5. What are the top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position: 1. BS/BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology or related field with 2-5 years lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred) or master’s degree 2. Work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment 3. Experience in HPLC analysis and chromatographic data acquisition system (empower) 4. Experience in use of electronic lab notebooks (ELN) 5. Experience in Dissolution testing is a must have Chemist II BS in Chemistry 2-5 yrs. lab experience or master’s degree. Solid use of HPLC is a must. Solid documentation skills, familiarity of GMP, GLP. Able to present findings to larger groups. Requirements: • BS/BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology or related field with 2-5 yrs lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred) or Masters Degree. • Solid use of analytical instruments including HPLC and chromatography data systems (i.e., Empower). • Solid documentation skills, familiarity of GMP, GLP, GSP. • Able to present findings to larger groups. Responsibilities: • Plan and execute assigned laboratory tasks utilizing standard procedures and technical understanding of various techniques to complete assigned tasks. • Apply basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, LIMS/SLIMS, and instrument related systems. • Presents conclusions of defined experiments. • Ensures safety and GxP requirements are met when performing tasks. • Ensures timely and GxP compliant delivery of high-quality precise data NOTES FROM MANAGER: 1) What hours and days will this person be working? Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or Equivalent) 4) What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification? Experience in dissolution testing and method development 5) What is the environment that this person will be working in (i.e. group setting vs individual role)? Candidate will be working as part of a group 6) Is any testing required for this role? No 7) Does this position offer the ability to work ly on a regular basis or is it an on-site role?
