Job Title – Scientist II Length of Contract – 6 months or Onsite - 100% Onsite Interviews - 1 hour onsite Max Bill Rate - $64.20 Responsibilities: • Independently design and conduct critical experiments that further project goals. • Documentation of experimental activities and results in a GMP compliant fashion using an electronic data acquisition and management systems. • Interpret results and draw conclusions from own multistage experiments, note significant deviations, then suggest, design, and pursue relevant experiments. • Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation. • Understand relevant scientific literature and apply a theoretical framework to solving problems within scientific discipline in a timely manner • Demonstrate skill in multiple techniques and appropriately modify protocols, as required, to suit the changing needs of research or development sciences. • Place data in proper scientific context by consulting and citing relevant literature. • Demonstrate technical proficiency in his/her field, preferentially in the analytical areas of quantitative and instrumental analysis. • Perform routine and complex tasks competently and independently and generate reliable and consistent results. • Impact projects predominantly through lab and/or pilot plant based activities. • Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, controlled drug and radioactive compounds, and GxP compliance, where applicable Preferable Skills: • Familiarity with spectrophotometric enzymatic plate reader methods. • Large and small molecule chromatography experience. • Hands-on dissolution experience in development and testing. • Prior exposure to natural products analytical development. • Exposure to 2D Gel electrophoresis Qualifiation: Bachelors Degree/Masters Degree in Chemistry/Analytical focus or equivalent
