Intern/Co-Op (High School/Secondary) in

The candidate will work as a contractor employee in the Johnson and Johnson site of Palm Beach Gardens, with the Quality organization. The project will be focused on handling, preparing, then measuring and reporting data pertaining to Power Tools and equipment components. The majority of the work will occur in the labs or supporting environments. The projects are aimed at improving customer experience, as well as analyzing the data against various technical criteria. Engineers and managers will come to the candidate with parts and requests. It will be the responsibility of the position to plan and execute the tests, format the data and present in a report as needed. The expectation is that with training the candidates will understand fully the quantities measured and will be able to detect any unexpected results. The candidates must abide by all Environmental, Health and Safety procedures, as well as, Quality procedures. Technical skills: - Enrolled in high-school or college for the current school year. - Ability to execute data entry and formatting in Excel. - Ability to understand a written procedure. - Ability to record data in Lab Notebooks. Human skills: - Self-starter, self-motivated. - Detail oriented. Strive on work done well, and with accurate reliable results. - Able to interact with personnel in several laboratories, understand procedures and reliably execute them.
