Technician 1 - Process in Jacksonville, FL

General Summary: Provides technical supports of activities related to the development of new processes including current and emerging technologies research, process cost evaluation, quality and capability alternatives analyses, and process characterization. Duties & Responsibilities: Supports basic engineering technical activities to effect high quality processes and design guidelines for dissemination through out the division. Checks basic layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensions. Requisitions equipment and materials; performs vendor and equipment analysis for engineers to determine cost effective and high quality processes. Supports designed experiments and capability studies, collects documents, and files records on process specifications. Collects process documentation and puts together training packets on processes, materials, and equipment. Uses basic computer aided industrial design applications such as: Ideas, Alias, and Solid works. Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures and other safety precautions within the work area. Work Experience: Generally Requires 0-2 Years Work Experience Education Required: Vocational, Certificate, Technical or Associates
