Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Incumbent plans and carries out work independently and uses own initiative and judgment to handle non-routine matters and ambiguous issues. Normally receives only general instructions on new or more complex assignments. Decisions are made independently and affect the work of others. Provides leadership and direction to team members. Contact is typically advisory in nature and involves both the exchange of detailed/technical information and providing advice to clients on how to proceed regarding an issue or business problem; typically deals with middle or senior levels of management and/or external equivalents. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge in job-related functional area and of the business. 3 years job-related technical programming and analysis experience. Designs and develops application code from specifications; analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements moderately complex software applications * Under general direction, creates or modifies applications to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results * Is competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application programming activities * Monitors program execution for expected performance * Prepares, creates, and modifies technical documentation for system software applications * Applies strong analytical & troubleshooting skills. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in a related field * Communicate effectively (written and oral) * 3 years enterprise experience with Oracle DML * 1 year enterprise experience with Oracle DDL * Teradata SQL experience * Oracle performance tuning Successful Candidate must demonstrate: * Experience using the required technologies in an enterprise environment * Ability to accept responsibility for multiple development projects * Ability to engage and network with contacts inside and outside the team * Abiltiy to take a manual business process and develop an automated solution. * Ability to take action without specific instructions to move organization toward business objectives
