IT-Senior Software Systems Engineer in

Summary: JAVA backend developer with strong hands on experience in developing and deploying production quality JAVA REST services using Spring Framework, MySQL. Designs and codes from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements moderately complex JAVA Rest services using Spring Framework. Will be working with the lead developer to complete REST services, support the testing effort, and deploy services / apps in DIT, QA & production. Job duties: • Develop Java Spring framework based REST services / applications conforming to high quality standards. • Develop automated Junit test cases for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. • Perform data analysis, data conversion and loading in MySQL / Oracle. • Complete necessary documentation for operational procedures, task lists, and maintenance procedures. • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. • Release coordination and implementation in DIT, QA and Production. Ability to provide extended support. • Strong Communication, with focus on business value and technical solutions. • Develop relations with peering teams, business community and support functional expertise. Experience: • BS degree in computer science / equivalent experience. • 5+ year experience with JAVA/J2EE technologies & Application Servers e.g. Tomcat • 3+ year of strong hands on experience o Development and deployment of Spring frame work REST services. o REST services development using Jersey / Spring Boot o MySQL / Oracle database / No SQL database o Cloud PaaS deployment (Cloud Foundry / AWS) • 1+ year experience using Git / Stash , JIRA, Jenkins • Experience in implementing Java EE design patterns such as MVC, Singleton, Session Facade, DAO, DTO, and Business Delegate in the development of Multi-Tier distributed Enterprise Applications • Experience with development using Agile development methodologies • Teamwork & collaboration skills to work across organizations and lead cross-functional teams • Communication & stakeholder management skills Tools & Technology Experience: • REST service development using Spring Framework (Spring boot , Spring data) • Core JAVA 1.8, Annotations • Swagger UI, Eureka • Messaging: JSON • Build tools: Maven • IDE: Spring Tool Suite / Eclipse • Spring Annotations • Database: Oracle / MariaDB / MySQL • Linux shell scripting • DevOps tools: Git/Stash, Jira, Confluence , Jenkins, Ansible Knowledge of LTE wireless network, Ethernet backhaul, MPLS, LTE , EVDO , Evolved Packet Core, End to End Circuits is preferable. Prior experience with wireless applications for Network Inventory, provisioning & activation is desirable.
