IT-Senior Systems Administrator in

Roles and Responsibilities: • Follow through the security life cycle of multiple enterprise applications, deployed in public and private cloud and non-cloud environment. • Work with Application and security teams towards clearing the application free from security vulnerabilities . • Maintain, install and configure third party applications on Linux and windows environment (Cloud and in private data centers) • Security configuration and hardening of Linux & Windows systems • Research, recommend innovative solution and create automated approaches for application maintenance tasks around DevOps and Agile practices • Write automation script (e.g. windows batch and Linux shell scripting) • Troubleshoot and resolve complex systems as well as application issues. • Guides application admin in formulating security requirements, integrating security requirements into existing system architectures, developing security test plans and advising on alternative approaches. • Provides technical lead on security projects which involve a wide range of issues including secure architectures, secure electronic data traffic, network security, platform, privacy and data security. • Provides guidance related to Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) initiatives, projects, plans, and reviews. • Assists project teams during system design with the drafting of logical architectural and design models with a focus on cloud migration and security • Consults with application development teams to determine cloud security requirements, while planning and delivering cloud based business solutions Required Skills: • 7+ years of experience supporting Unix/Linux OS in an enterprise environment as a Sr. System admin • 5+ years of experience leading application teams to develop secured solutions which can satisfy multiple enterprise security teams • 3+ years of experience supporting Applications in AWS in a System Admin role • Excellent documentation, presentation and communication skills • Excellent troubleshooting skills (technical and non-technical) • Detailed knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques • Detailed knowledge of Data center polices and procedures • Knowledge of Security architecture, firewall, integrating security products, developing and coordinating security implementation plans. • Experience with SAP and/or Oracle SOA is a plus but not required • Must have industry recognized security certification like CISSP, GIAC, CISM, etc. • Master in computer science or any engineering field Vendor to supply laptop: Quad core laptop with 8 cores | 16GB RAM | Office 2016 | Symantec End point protection software.
