  Job Description

Support the acquisition and disposition processes for the Company’s occupied sites. Includes negotiating, tracking and reporting responsibilities of sale and leasing transactions for of company property and property rights, providing effective support to other real estate representatives, facilities and property employees on large or complex commercial real estate projects.

Knowledge & Experience Requirements:

  • Property portfolio consists of 165 occupied sites within the US and associated property rights.
  • Four year degree, Experience in commercial real estate with some utility property and property rights experience is preferred.
  • Experience with property acquisition in terms of permits, license agreements and easements obtained by residential and commercial customers, as well as municipalities and government agencies.
  • Understanding of compliance with the Public Service Commission and their guidelines
  • Completion of professional level courses in real estate practice, real estate law, contracts, title examination, negotiation, appraisal and environmental educational concentrations.
  • Understanding of engineering and survey plans, maps and related design drawings, deeds and appraisal reports.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and other assignments at the same time.
  • Capacity to interact effectively with internal and external parties on property transactions.
  • Needs to be a fast learner and well organized, ready to accept challenges, proefficient in MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical capability with experience of building financial and business models.

  • Our business consist of obtaining property rights for the installation gas facilities in the form of permits, license agreements and easementsEasements are obtained by residential and commercial customers, as well as municipalities and government agencies.
  • The acquisition of property for the purposes of gas growth and mandated projects.
  • The disposition of surplus properties in compliance with the DEC (remediated properties) and PSC guidelines.

Candidate should have experience in working with municipalities and government agencies and have an understanding of compliance with the Public Service Commission

Excellent organizational skills and proficient in MS Excel
