Business Systems Analyst in Colorado Springs, CO

• T&M will be responsible for defining, planning, and monitoring all application support activities for IT applications including trouble shooting, performance monitoring, recommendation of resolution, installation, training, and script/code writing.
• Implements and supports a broad range of facility-based IT&S equipment.
• Advanced hands-on technical support provided across a broad range of technical areas.

Top 3 Requirements:

• Solid experience in LINIX/UNIX a must
• Strong working knowledge with web application servers (Java, WebLogic)
• Competency in scripting languages SSL certificate handling, SSH keys, etc.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or extensive experience in IT field
• 7 to 10 years of experience
• Experience in active monitoring, server rebuilt/application installs, configurations
• Knowledge to maximize automated monitoring, “intelligent” script creation

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Production Support duties and best practices most desirable
• Understanding on-call/off-hours/pager rotation duties
• Knowledge of general network terms and protocols
• Ability to clearly communicate and comprehend technical details

Additional Requirements:

• Work Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm - Note: 24x7 System Operations – Occasional out of normal work schedule required via on-call pager rotation, periodic production upgrades / code deployments due to needs of business
