Senior Financial Analyst in Piscataway, NJ

The Analyst will report to the Manager, Commercial Payments, and manage base business activities within own sub-team structure, including review of work, ensure accuracy, timeliness and alignment with guidance documents/ SOP's and Work Instructions, and train junior department associates.

The Analyst will ensure accurate, on time and compliant payments are made in accordance with contractual obligations for assigned GPO/IDN, Distributor & program payments.

Responsible for the review of payments calculated by assigned analysts to ensure all accuracy, timeliness, compliance & documentation needs are met.

Independently manage work streams associated with regular payments, adjustments & exceptions: devise work stream plan, manage timelines and coordinate with multiple business partners, both internal & external to JJHCS. Responsible for ensuring controls in payments process & for meeting audit needs of the team through influencing/challenging business partners & other stakeholders, strong supportive documentation and timely escalation of issues as appropriate.

Develop, run and analyze required & ad-hoc payment reports for customers, sales force & senior management. Responsible for developing user requirements and performing User Acceptance Testing for system changes, new business transitions and new payment strategies. 


The Analyst will be responsible for OpCo/Account/Customer interaction with ownership of the following: consulting, presentations, conflict management, relationship management, knowledge of the customer.

Responsible for understanding accounting entries that are associated with payments (P&L/Balance sheet) and being able to trouble shoot issues that may arise; owns presentation & communication to all stakeholders.

Responsible for understanding and implementation of SOX criteria and SOX validation: Segregation of duties, Financial Controls, CPC involvement & documentation.

Independently research problems of broad scope (sales, payments, customer structure, product structure, data history), consolidate information, develop recommendations and present to management.
