Software Developer (C#, UI/UX and Mobile) in Chicago, IL

• This is Windows client implementation
• Wave 7000 client, IOS and Android focus
• This team creates applications for Windows, IOS and android operations systems for Push to talk phones over broadband for emergency responder for devices like Samsung, LG, IOS windows and the devices are like nextel phones
• Looking for someone that has exp debugging and Senior level coding using C sharp and need to have exp reading, comprehending, recognizing error and editing existing code
• Unified window platform is used and needed UX is a High Plus
• No .Net exp is needed or relevant to this position
• Will look at candidates that are knowledgeable but would prefer someone with actual knowledge
• Prefer local but will look at non local candidates that are willing to relocate on their own

The Onsite interviews will last from 10-3 lunch will be provided by Client

Will work average of 50 hours per week and occasional Sat

Technical interview : have them work thru a basic problem with Technical - skills and ability to find resources/info to solve a problem

Need to hit the ground running; Strictly Development not an IT role. 

Required Skill:

• 4-7 years of exp Windows development is a MUST HAVE
• C/C++/C Sharp
• 4-7 years of actual working exp with Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required 

Desired Skills:

• Mobile application and/or platform development on Windows 10/UWP.

Job Description:

• Your responsibilities will range from driving solutions to requirements gathering & analysis, designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and enhancing mobile applications on one or more mobile platforms.
• High ownership, self­-sufficient, individual to drive quality and maintain application stability.
• Strong ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies in a short time.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree required with 4+ years working experience; Masters degree with 2+ years working experience in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required.
• Mobile application and/or platform development in Windows Mobile on Windows 10/UWP.
• Performance analysis and tuning experience including memory usage, CPU utilization, leak checking, etc is a plus.
• Excellent debugging skills to solve challenging problems.
• Experience with networking protocols TCP/UDP, and also SIP, RTP, RTCP is a plus.
• Experience/knowledge in mobile application software development tools (e.g. GIT, Gerrit, JBOSS...), testing, process (agile, kanban) and configuration management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• C# (C Sharp) to be able to work on the client
• Audio subsystem experience (e.g. Audio Graph)
• Knowledge of Windows App lifetime including background execution
• Knowledge of IPC among other windows applications
• Knowledge of common design patterns
• Knowledge of C# and Windows memory management
