  Job Description

Seeking a contractor with a passion for storytelling, creative content creation, and digital and social media to lead editorial and channel management for Client’s Get Old program.

  • Developing content that showcases medical innovation as a driver of healthy aging and client’s leadership in the space
  • Lead proactive editorial strategy, planning and content development as well as day-to-day management for the Get Old program that aligns content with program goals, business unit and policy priorities and showcases medical innovation
  • Pitch story ideas and collaborate with and manage network of internal and external writers to develop Get Old original content
  • Develop Get Old social media editorial calendar (including licensed content and image sourcing, copy-writing, scheduling) and manage daily posting across social media channels to maintain/increase community engagement
  • Manage reviews of all content through Get Old’s Review Committee (RC) team
  • Coordinate original and licensed article posting and website changes with Business Technology
  • Manage social community and consumer engagement monitoring and response
  • Coordinate content syndication and cross-promotion of content with corporate channels (including Get Healthy Stay Healthy, Get Science, Client's website and corporate social media)
  • Coordinate paid advertising and promotion strategies across social channels
  • Ensure compliance and quality of all channels and social properties

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in communications, English or related field
  • Strong writing, editing, project management and people skills; track record of reliable and timely communication planning and execution
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and strategic, analytical and leadership capabilities
  • Knowledge of and expertise in current and emerging aging, social media and digital communications and trends
  • Expertise in social media channel management (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Ability to work effectively and inclusively in teams with diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Flexibility, self-awareness, good attitude/humor, perseverance, ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in change, and a can-do attitude
  • Familiarity with healthcare and biopharmaceuticals industries
  • Must care about making a positive difference in people’s health and live
