Graphic Designer in Hicksville, NY

This position is responsible for the creative development and graphic design of all Company’s printed materials, as well as, developing effective and attention getting graphic design collateral.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility is the creation and design of multimedia graphics and information supporting the development of final external customer and internal company collateral.
• Design responsibilities include a concept to completion ability, which includes the development of the creative, formatting, pre-press knowledge helpful of all graphic programs for projects such as bill inserts, newsletters, direct mail, postcards, posters
• Oversee the strategic creative approach, graphic design execution and print production of printed materials including brochures, bill inserts, newsletters, direct mail pieces, posters/signage and other visuals.
• Coordinate external purchased services, primarily through direct mail print broker, printing vendor relationships and any graphic design agency support.
• Provide graphic assistance to support areas within and outside of the Customer Operations organization.
• Responsible for monitoring and enforcing Company’s brand and graphic design standards to ensure visual representation matches its strategic direction.
• Help increase customer satisfaction through the creative development and implementation of attention getting, simple, clear, and informative customer communications.
• Managing inventory of purchased stock photos and images.
• Coordinate mailings to customers and should have working knowledge of direct mail operations, personalization techniques and postal options such as rate class and other sorting methods.
• Understand customer demographics to develop creative solutions that would best resonate with different audiences.
• Develop creative graphic solutions that meet budget guidelines while supporting marketing objectives.
• Work collaboratively with Lead Communications Coordinators in the development and production of all Company publications.

Position Requirements:

• Individual will be required to utilize their own laptop or computer for executing design requirements.
• Computer software requirements: Mac; OS X Snow Leopard through El Capitan) or PC; Windows 7 or above.
• Knowledge of Quark 2015, Creative Suite 6 through CC; including Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro and InDesign.
• 2-5 Years of experience.
