Project Manager in Long Island City, NY

Scop of Services

• Developing a project plan that describes the objectives, deliverables, and implementation plan for the project.
• Working with functional managers along with different bureaus at client side to assign appropriate resources to the project.
• Executing the project plan, monitoring progress and performance, and taking corrective actions as appropriate.
• Communicating assignments to functional managers, subject matter experts, and other members of the project team.
• For the duration of the project, the selected PM will prepare and present weekly status reports to the project steering committee.
• Managing all project documents and their approvals from all stakeholders, ensuring that the project is completed successfully and on schedule.

Qualification:

To be submitted for consideration, PM candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in overseeing medium scale projects, possess a strong technology background withan understanding of application development and methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, etc.), and possess strong skills in the following areas:

• Management and leadership
• Interpersonal communication
• Problem-solving
• Time management
• Documentation skills (i.e., Project Plans, Project Charter, Project Status Reports, Business and Functional Requirements, Meeting Notes and Minutes)
