Pay: $25.00/hr, Bill: $35.50 Shift Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Mon – Fri Temp to Perm: Contingent only. 6 month assignment with the chance to extend contingent assignment Core essential skill sets in a qualified candidate: 1. Physical heavy lifting up to 50 pounds as needed without use of a machine. Items over 50 pounds will use a machine to lift. Screenings: 1. Basic Background Check 2. 12 Panel Medical Screenings: A) Vision Screen - Near, Far, Color, Depth and Peripheral B) Vital Signs C) Urine Dip Analysis D) Whisper Test E) Audiogram & Noise and Hearing Questionnaire F) Lifting Assessment G) Spirometry & OSHA Respirator Questionnaire Summary: Transferring equipment from one room to another. Under general supervision, performs a full range of work involving lifting, carrying, packaging laboratory equipment and pilot scale manufacturing equipment, operate pallet jack and other tools for moving shipping boxes, pallets and crates, and performing basic shipping documentation. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks. • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws. • Conducts routine cleaning of laboratory rooms and other office areas that requires removing equipment, tables, cabinets, chairs and other laboratory and office supplies. • Disposes waste according to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and TEVA Employee Health and Safety (EHS) policy. • Transfer of lab equipment and pilot scale processing equipment to different rooms or other TEVA sites as instructed by supervisor/manager. • Assist in organizing lab supplies and laboratory equipment • Assemble shipping boxes and prepare crates and pallets. • Package laboratory and small-scale processing equipment • Assist in shipping Equipment, pallet/crate and operates pallet jack and other tools for moving boxes, pallet, and crates • May load shipping trucks to ship packages, crates, pallet • May receive packages and mails and delivers to offices and laboratories • May receive laboratory supplies and chemicals and maintain inventory control. • Complies with all cGLP/GMP and safety requirements, laboratory SOP’s and Company policies. • Complies with good housekeeping and safety practices; washes glassware as needed and ensures cleanliness of testing equipment. • May help in ordering packaging supplies (Boxes, foams, pallet, and crates). • Performs related duties as assigned. • May communicate with vendors and rigging companies to coordinate moving and shipping of boxes, crates, and pallets. Required Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of: • Packaging, shipping and loading trucks • Operating Pallet jacks • Basic computer programs and applications Skill in: • Reading, understanding and compliance with Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations • Reading, writing and speaking English • Communicating effectively with all levels of personnel • Understanding and following instructions as instructed by supervisor/manager. • Working independently with little or no supervision • Operating general tools including drills, hammer, screwdriver, saw, packaging knife, and other tools required for shipping boxes and crates Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Incumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of standing, walking, lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds, vision to monitor and moderate to loud noise levels. Incumbents may be exposed to or work with toxic materials, toxic gases, electrical hazards, dangerous tools and equipment. Work is performed in laboratory and shipping and receiving environments. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of packaging, shipping and receiving laboratory equipment and small-scale manufacturing equipment (Pumps, mixer, motor, metal containers, filler, and other small machineries)About Rangam:
