Accountant II in Colorado Springs, CO

8 am start time Fully onsite Will convert to FT after 6 months Onsite interviews Preference for someone with manufacturing experience Must have 2 - 5 years experience Cost Accountant for Engineered to Order Manufacturing Facility -Analyze and collect cost information associated with labor, inventory and organizational expenses (Efficiency, Production Variance, Inventory, TE, Indirect Materials, etc.) -Assist with budget and forecasting reports -Assist with month-end closing and prepare journal entries -Assist with annual and ad-hoc standard cost rolls -Maintain Fixed Assets and submit Capital Expenditures Requests -Reconcile Inventory Accounts -Ensure compliance and provide audit requests -Collaborate with various departments to educate and provide costing tools Qualifications: -Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role -Experience with ERP (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel (pivot table, and basic formula knowledge) -Attention to detail and accuracy -Strong time management skills -Must be able to work independently -BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant study
