Pay rate - $22 ph Working Hours: Training: 1st shift (8 AM - 5 PM) for a few months Post-Training: Will transition to 2nd shift once training is complete, 2:30pm to 11pm PPE - Safety glasses and safety shoes (provided by Xylem) In person interview Performs a variety of laboratory tasks under the supervision of a Scientist/Researcher. The technician will use both standard procedures and adapted processes to support specific projects and routine operations, while collaborating with maintenance staff to ensure smooth equipment functioning. Key Responsibilities: Perform laboratory analyses using established methods and adapt processes as needed. Plan and execute tasks in accordance with production or test schedules. Collaborate with maintenance personnel on equipment repairs and modifications. Conduct specific projects under the guidance of technical specialists (e.g., chemists). Record data, observations, and conclusions from experiments and tests. Education: Required: High School diploma with 3 years of relevant work experience, or an Associate's degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry). Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry). Experience Required: Capable of performing routine tasks and willing to be trained in basic ion exchange technologies. Preferred: Prior experience in a laboratory setting with experience in detailed sample analysis. Additional Skills: Strong inductive and deductive reasoning skills. Ability to recognize and report problems. A self-starter who can handle multiple projects simultaneously. Physical Requirements: Constant ability to sit, stand, hear, and see. Frequent ability to walk, write, and type. Occasional ability to bend, carry, push, pull, reach, and operate stairs. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. May work in environments exposed to dust, dirt, and varying temperatures. 1-3 years of laboratory experience required Performs laboratory tests or other laboratory work using conventional and computerized machines and work aids. Performs laboratory work and tests according to prescribed standards. Determines chemical and physical characteristics or composition. Sets up, readjusts, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments.About Rangam:
