Summary:
- The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist GTM, Programs, & Operations (GPO) Chief of Staff with content and message development, writing, editing and project management support aligned to GPO Business Management and communication management activities.
- Portfolio of work is aligned to GPS FY24 strategic initiatives portfolio, Tier I executive comms support for VP and CVP internal and external partner meetings and events, team KPI reporting for GPS AI Growth initiatives, and other business communications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain team documentation and walking decks within the appropriate GPO Teams sites.
- Assist Chief of Staff with content development for internal GPO organization, internal client, or external for partner events or meetings. Form factors will include PowerPoint, Word, and email, ensuring high quality content development. Create workback plan aligned to key timelines and ensure content is developed in time for executive or required business reviews.
- Maintain updates to GPO standard business content including organizational charts (blueprint), walking decks, etc. and keep shared versions and AKA links up to date across Teams sites.
- Manage executive speaking calendar for Tier I internal or external events for GPO Vice President, and GPS CVP and Chief Partner Officer, aligned to meetings or events that GPO Chief of Staff supports. Will include key internal meetings, plus external keynotes and other key events
- Maintain monthly KPI reporting aligned to the FY24 GPS AI growth plan, getting inputs from across organization and updating reporting slides and other vehicles
- Works collaboratively across GPO and Global Partner Solutions (GPS) organizations with key SMEs and stakeholders who help provide source content and stories
Skills:
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be adept at orchestration across multiple deliverables, timelines, and stakeholders at one time. Seasoned at collaboration and working with all levels of organization.
- Advanced MS PowerPoint content development, animation and formatting skills.
- Advanced MS Word skills.
- Knowlege of MS Teams and SharePoint
