Planner/Scheduler in Perry, OH

• Work experience as well as commercial nuclear power plant experience is required
• Related technical experience in operations, engineering, scheduling, planning, maintenance or construction of nuclear power plants
• Must possess an understanding of more complex computerized scheduling methods and maintenance information systems.
• Detailed task planning for all station work activities to be implemented with the plant on-line.
• Develop maintenance work order packages for corrective, repetitive, testing and plant modification activities.
• Generating detailed work packages, orders, instructions (e.g., task steps, safety precautions, tasks, materials, job duration), and any required work procedures in support of task planning.
• Perform job walk downs in all areas of the plant to determine package specifics, initiate required permits and clearance requests, and identify support requirements.
• Respond to Condition Reports and Corrective Actions.
• Fulfill Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Develop schedules that support the ability to complete maintenance in a safe, cost-effective and reliable manner and in full compliance with government regulations, industry standards and Company policies.
• Responsible for scheduling (creating logic ties, activity duration, running schedule software, etc.) multiple pieces of information from station personnel to develop overall outage plans.
• Interface and coordinate with station personnel to develop schedules for all outage activities in accordance with pre-outage and outage milestones.
• Manage and complete assigned activities to support timely implementation of outage related activities.
• Responsible for the planning, scheduling and coordination of activities associated with forced outages and refueling outages using Primavera P3 scheduling software.
• This process involves the coordination and preparation of detailed plans for outages developing schedule components concurrently to meet established target dates
