Project Manager in Richmond, VA

Description:

• Project Manager for oversight and Mgt of the Hicap/FTTC program in the VA/MD/DC turf.
• Position is responsible for management of timely service delivery to Hicap sites (to include fiber to the cell).
• Contractor will be responsible for milestone tracking, due date coordination with customers, order fallout resolution, and metrics preparation/presentation to key stakeholders and leadership.
• Contractor will manage across multiple company work groups to include VPS, ENG/OPS PMO, OSP/IOF ENG, CXM, OCO/MCO, CNE, etc.
• Contractor will also interact daily with customers both wireless (Carriers) and non-wireless to manage due date adherence.
• Manages the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of the organization's local area networks and wide area networks.
• Analyzes products and recommends use of new products and services to senior management.
• Manages LAN/WAN performance and security.
• Establishes and implements policies and procedures for LAN/WAN usage throughout the organization.
• May manage only LAN or WAN area.
• 5-7 years of experience
