Sales Support Specialist in Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

• Support sales and marketing initiatives through business processes and supporting applications coordinating with both internal stakeholders and external partners
• Utilize analytical skills and the ability to gather and synthesize key data into a format that is usable for business decisions
• Proactively communicate change initiatives to impacted groups, stakeholders, and external vendors
• Understands key business performance metrics, and can design and present useful metric and create action plans for achieving business objectives
• Coordinate change efforts with other departments, provide feedback and progress regarding projects, or issue identification and resolution

Requirements:

• Business analyst background needed
• Candidates with an energy industry background are highly preferred
• Ability to support clients in a dynamic business environment with rapid change
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully cross functionally within a group
• Retail energy experience highly preferred
• Proficiency with the entire MS Suite and Advanced MS Excel skills preferred.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills
• Strong organization and analytical skills
• Self-confidence/self-starter
