Tester (Android devices) in Plantation, FL

INTERVIEW TYPE: 15 min phone first then 4 onsite interviews

SCHEDULE: 8-5 MON -FRI with possible OT maybe twice a month

This group receives Daily Test cases for New product with which the test Eng get assigned daily

The Test engs are expected to perform Full cycle Software testing on Android devices:

Recognizing problems/failures and enter the problems/failures into the system as well as collaborate with the Development Eng by waking them thru how they how they found the problem/failure. They will not have to provide an action for the discoveries

Top Skills / Experience:

• Actual testing experience Android devices
• Test creations and Test development experience
• Manual test execution (both script and exploratory)
• Need to be recognize problems/failures; document them and commination them to the Development Engs

Desired Experience / Skills:

• Degree is preferred in Computer science, Electrical Eng or Engineer Degree with concentrations in communication/networking
• Experience making test suggestions and suggesting test cases

Experience:

• 1 - 3 years. Use current documentation of test process and formalize as released procedures in document control system.
• Shadow test team and document process flows and test procedures (that are currently not documented).
• Work with business team to ensure traceability process is adequate.
• Work with NPI team on test planning documentation.
• Support to the Field Engineering Team in testing of new hardware, software applications and accessories of new and upgraded products as they are released.
• Raise of all issues found during testing and to work with the Development and Integration Teams to track those issues until resolution.
• Capable to read and understand technical specifications.
• Good English knowledge and PC skills.
