System Administrator in Baltimore, MD

• The position requires knowledge of Windows and Linux Servers, Active Directory, SAN, NAS, Firewalls etc. VMware exp is preferred
• The position will be responsible for various IT implementation and related tasks for a large project.
• This will include Work on Firmware-Based Devices and installed operating systems Windows and Linux.
• The candidates should possess a general understanding of IT constructs in areas like networking, Active Directory group policy, databases, software patch management, backup and recovery tools, etc.
• This will include everything from doing site preparatory work, racking and stacking equipment, provisioning equipment, and various general IT system administration tasks.
• The candidate will be expected to work autonomously with little supervision, and travel between sites will be required (within Mid-Atlantic [DC Metro Area to New Jersey] and Mid-West regions [greater Chicago area]).
